The market of PVC of windows in Russia reduces rates of increase

According to experts, the cost price increase, an insignificant rise in prices for an end-product and insufficient sale in the Russian market of PVC of windows — major factors which compel large operators to leave the market.

For today in the market of PVC windows in Russia stable is considered the enterprise with monthly average productivity not less than 20 000 sq. m, with the developed dealer network, the departments of private sales and corporate customers. And for small manufactures now it is more favourable to buy and resale finished articles.

With it the director of department of retails for Western Siberia of Open Company «UK BFK». Victor Jakovenko agrees also: «The situation in the market of windows from PVC is characterised last two years by decrease in rates of increase, a rigid price competition, the superfluous offer. In 2008 to features of the given market adverse macroeconomic situation developing in Russia was added. Moreover, at preservation of today's tendencies in the market large players will be compelled to restructure, and is possible, and to curtail completely the window business».

Analysts also do not exclude leaving of some the companies from market SPK or at least their reorganisation. «This market for a long time already very competitive. And if before its fast growth left a place and for small players in the conditions of the decrease in rates of increase aggravated with beginning stagnation in building, leaving of a part of the companies from the market is inevitable, — the director of the research company „Summa technologiy“ Victor Grebennikov speaks. — Help with this situation can the control over costs and quality of production, including accompanying services of dealers, territorial expansion and investments into image of a brand».
